Get it done

Your helper arrives at the agreed time. Once the task is complete, confirm in the app and payment releases automatically. Rate your helper to help the community.

Protected throughout

Your payment is held securely until you confirm the task is done. If anything goes wrong, our support team is here to help.

Tell the community what you're good at — errands, DIY, pet care, tech help — and set your availability. The more detail, the better the matches.

Get notified of tasks

When a task nearby matches your skills, you'll get a push notification. Browse open tasks in your area any time and apply to the ones that suit you.

Get accepted & go

Once a task poster accepts you, you'll get all the details. Chat with them in-app before you arrive to clarify anything you need.

Get paid same day

As soon as the task poster confirms it's done, payment is released to your CHOR wallet. Cash out to your bank any time — no delays, no minimum threshold.

Is CHOR safe to use?

Every helper on CHOR is community-reviewed, and all transactions are processed securely. Payments are held in escrow until you confirm the task is complete.

What kinds of tasks can I post?

Almost anything that's legal and reasonable — errands, dog walking, cleaning, gardening, furniture assembly, tech help, tutoring, moving boxes, and much more. We don't allow tasks that require professional licensing (like electrical work) unless the helper holds the relevant qualification.

How does payment work?

You pay upfront when you confirm a helper. Funds are held securely and only released once you confirm the task is done. CHOR takes a small platform fee from the task price. Helpers are paid directly to their CHOR wallet, withdrawable to any UK bank account.

What if something goes wrong?

Our support team is available 7 days a week. If a task isn't completed to the agreed standard, raise a dispute in the app and we'll review it. We take every complaint seriously.

How much can I earn as a doer?

It depends entirely on how much you work. You set your own schedule and accept only the tasks you want. There's no minimum hours or exclusivity requirement.
